The taste of the cookie was a little bit nutty, a little buttery too, but mostly sweet like a slice of cake. And when the vanilla flavored royal icing hit my tongue and began melting, mixing with the flavor of the cookie, I couldn't help but smile as I continued to enjoy that bite! For the last 10 years, I have been recreating that experience for friends and family and now I am ready to share what I do with everyone else!

 

My name is Gina Casey and I am the owner of Capital City Cookies. We are a family-owned business that believes in the value of creating homemade, handcrafted quality sugar cookies. We take pride in creating a wide variety of delicious cookies that not only warm the home, but definitely warm the heart! We like to keep our recipes simple, emphasizing on the flavors of the cookie and the icing, while delivering designs with the "Wow" factor. Our favorite time of day is when our first batch comes out of the oven early in the morning, and the fresh smell fills the entire house.
